‘SAVANNAH AIN’T GONNA LIKE THIS’- LeBron James in trouble after former Heat teammates recounts James Miami Christmas Party in strip club

LeBron James might be in trouble at home after what his former Miami Heat teammates revealed in a podcast. NBA fans reacted to Udonis Haslem, Mike Miller and Greg Oden’s story of the 2013-14 Heat team spending their Christmas Party in a strip club.

On an episode of “The OGs” podcast with Haslem and Miller, Oden recounted his time in Miami. There was a time where they spent their Christmas Party at the Tootsie’s Cabaret, a popular strip club in the city. Haslem explained that it was a bonding moment for the team looking for a three-peat (34:53):

“That was one of those situations where we just needed a little curveball. It was one of those things where the season gets a little long and it gets a little stressful.

“We were one of the more highly televised teams in the NBA, so there was a lot going on. We just needed a little team bonding. … As a team, being on TV every day, being the most scrutinized team every single day, taking on the LeBron James effect every single day, that got to be a lot for us as a team.”

NBA fans on X reacted to the revelation by trolling LeBron James, who has been together with his wife Savannah since high school.

“Savannah ain’t gonna like this. Looks like LeKing is sleeping on LeCouch tonight,” a fan wrote.
“LeBron sleeping on the couch tonight,” one fan replied.

“Oh LeBron didn’t want Savannah to know this,” another fan commented.

LeBron James played together with Haslem, Miller and Oden during the 2013-14 NBA season. The Miami Heat were aiming for a three-peat after championship wins over the OKC Thunder in 2012 and the San Antonio Spurs in 2013.

“Don’t let Savvanah see this,” a fan responded.

“Is this the Heat Culture they always brag about?,” one fan asked.

“LeBron about to break record for most “huh” said at one time,” another fan joked.

The Miami Heat, eventually, failed to win their third straight championship, losing to the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals in five games.

LeBron James took his talents to South Beach in 2010 after spending the first seven years of his career with the Cleveland Cavaliers. There was a celebration in Miami, including a welcome party by Tootsies Cabaret for fans who wanted to enjoy the joyous move.

“We’ve become the late night home for a lot of pro athletes and Heat fans, and we want LeBron to know that he’ll be welcome at Tootsie’s anytime he wants to stop by,” Ed Anakar said, the Director of Operations for the cabaret’s parent company. [H/T NBC Miami]
James was in Miami for four seasons, making four NBA Finals appearances and winning the championship in 2012 and 2013.
