Italian Journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Liverpool are not going to sell Mohamed Salah in this summer transfer window. He made this known while speaking on his YouTube channel.
Current reports suggests that Saudi Arabian clubs are keen on bringing the Egyptian international to join likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Sadio Mane.
Both Liverpool and Salah are not interested in parting ways after the Egyptian signed a new contract earlier this year. Reds consider him as a very important player in their team for the upcoming season.
However Fabrizio Romano discussed the issue and said:
“From what I am told the position of Liverpool is very clear.
“Salah is untouchable, with Fabinho and Henderson they did something special, as they allowed the players to leave. But they don’t want Mo Salah to leave.”
Klopp and Co plan to keep Mohamed Salah to keep their momentum on a right track this season. The forward has emerged as an iconic figure among club supporters.
Next summer, Saudi Arabian clubs will be more interested in bringing Salah. However, Liverpool consider him as “untouchable” and will not look to sell at any cost.
Salah will have loads of responsibility on his shoulders this season, as the Mersyside club looks to resurrect their good reign of form. Klopp knows his real value as he is most important player in the current Liverpool roster.
And now with Romano’s confirmation, Salah remains safe at Liverpool this season.
