“Manchester United” is interested in the transfer of “Bayern” winger Leroy Sane.
The 27-year-old has been in excellent form for the German club this season, scoring 13 goals and providing eight assists in all competitions. According to Defensa Central, the winger has a contract with the German club until the summer of 2025, and Bayern have not yet started contract negotiations with him.
The German club could be set to sign the player at the end of the season and he has also been linked with Real Madrid. It will be interesting to see if the Germany international is ready for a return to the Premier League.
Sane was a standout player for Manchester City while in England and Manchester United could use a man like him in their side. The German can play on either flank and will add speed, agility and goals to Erik ten Hag’s attack.
The Red Devils have relied heavily on Marcus Rashford this season and the England international is in excellent form. But Manchester United will need more help next season if they are to win the league and challenge for the Champions League.
Sane could add a new dimension to Manchester United’s attack. He can replace players like Anthony Martial. It has been reported that the Frenchman will leave the club in the summer. Manchester United have signed wingers Anthony and Jadon Sancho in recent seasons, but neither player has yet lived up to expectations. Sane is a top, proven player and could make an immediate impact at Old Trafford next season.
