Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea provides an assist to Anthony Martial after Marcus Rashford’s injury.
Rashford picked up a groin injury in Saturday’s 2-0 Premier League win over Everton and manager Eric ten Haag confirmed he will be out for “a few games”. His absence is a blow for United given his stellar goal scoring record, but De Gea believes Martial is now fully fit and can be a “big player” for the club.
He told Manutd.com: “I hope so. We know what he can do off the field. That’s great. When he’s healthy and ready to play, he’s a great player. “He can dribble, score and pass. So he’s definitely going to be a big player for us.”

Martial plays an important role at Manchester United.
The Frenchman has played just 799 minutes in all competitions for United this season but is still impressing with seven goals and two assists. The 27-year-old has been in fine form in his limited playing time under Ten Haag, but the big question is whether he can get through the rest of the season injury-free.

Martial has picked up five other injuries this season and United will be hoping he stays injury free and can contribute in the coming weeks. A healthy and enthusiastic Martial would be an asset for United, especially without Rashford.
Rashford has been stellar this season with 28 goals and 11 assists and someone will have to step up during his short tenure. De Gea spoke highly of Martial in an interview and it remains to be seen if the £36m signing can prove himself with goals.
Martial could start tonight against Sevilla in the Europa League quarter-final first leg. MANCHESTER UNITED 36 minutes ago United want to accelerate the transfer process.
