Manchester United’s injury list has shrunk somewhat ahead of two big games against Sevilla and Brighton.
Marcus Rashford, Luke Shaw and Marcel Sabitzer attended Manchester United’s first-team training session at Carrington on Wednesday morning.
Rashford has missed United’s last two games with a hamstring injury and his return will be a welcome boost ahead of a tough away game against Sevilla in the Europa League on Thursday night.
Shaw has been ruled out since being substituted in the 37th minute against Brentford earlier this month but has returned to training and is expected to travel to Spain with the squad.
Scott McTominay, Alejandro Garnacho and Raphael Varane remain unavailable, while Lisandro Martinez and Donny van de Beek are out for the season. Bruno Fernandes is suspended for the second leg.
Sabitzer took part in training after withdrawing from Sunday’s lineup to face Nottingham Forest. Sabitzer scored a brace to put United seemingly in charge of their European match last week before a late Sevilla return.
Casemiro and Facundo Pellistri are both on the razor’s edge ahead of the second stage. Both players know that a bookable booking would see them miss the first leg of the semi-final if United get there, against Juventus or Sporting CP.
