Sevilla without two key players for today’s clash with Manchester United

Manchester United take on Sevilla in the Europa League quarter-finals tonight.

Two late goals from the Spaniards equalized the draw in Manchester, leaving United with all they could to qualify.

As Sport Witness reports, United could be boosted by the news that Sevilla will be without midfielder Joan Jordan.

The Spaniard also missed the first leg and was expected to be fit for tonight’s game after his side beat Valencia at the weekend.

However, the 28-year-old suffered another setback in his recovery, missing training due to an ankle injury.

The hosts will also be without right-back Gonzalo Montiel tonight due to a yellow card he received in the first leg.

On the United side, Bruno Fernandes has also been suspended for a tough yellow card given at Old Trafford last week.

Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez ended last week’s first leg with injuries which ruled them out of tonight’s match.

On a positive note: Marcus Rashford, Luke Shaw and Marcel Sabitzer have all traveled to Spain despite their respective injury concerns.

Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof are expected to replace Varane and Martinez in central defence, and are hoping to repeat Sunday’s clean sheet at Nottingham Forest.

The key to qualifying will be how United handle the atmosphere at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán stadium, which should be buzzing.

If United progress, they will battle Juventus or Sporting Lisbon in the semi-finals.
