Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has traveled with the squad for tonight’s Premier League game at Tottenham Hotspur.
The Portuguese playmaker was ruled out during extra time in United’s FA Cup semi-final win against Brighton after injuring his ankle in the first half.
Fernandes immediately took off his boot and was sent home with a protective boot and crutches, which he was still using on Monday.
However, the midfielder – who has yet to miss a game for United due to injury – appears to have made a miraculous recovery.
Fernandes was seen with the United squad arriving in London this afternoon and he will undergo a late fitness test to see if he can start.
Should Fernandes be forced to accept a place on the bench, Christian Eriksen or Marcel Sabitzer could enter into an advanced role.
