‘Ahead of the game’: Harry Maguire increasingly fears he will have to ‘path ways’ with Manchester United to actualize his Euro 2024 dreams

Harry Maguire is increasingly worried that he will have to leave Manchester United this summer due to manager Erik Ten Hag’s lack of confidence.

The England defender is looking to stay and fight for his place despite falling down the pecking order at Old Trafford this season.

However, Maguire fears a lack of game time next year could hurt his chances of starting Gareth Southgate’s side at the European Championships.

Maguire attracted interest from West Ham, Inter Milan and Roma during the January transfer window and will have offers in the closing season, although he could face a reduction in his weekly salary of £190,000.

United aren’t desperate to offload Maguire, but are close to Premier League spending limits and with two years remaining on his contract, it would suit the club to cash in this summer.
