Although Harry Kane’s contract with Tottenham expires in the summer of 2024, the team is willing to give him a voice in choosing a new permanent manager this season.
As Paris Saint-Germain did to appease Kylian Mbappe last summer, Tottenham will consult Harry Kane before announcing the club’s next manager.
Spurs are currently searching for a new permanent manager, and Julian Nagelsmann, the former manager of Bayern Munich, is a leading candidate. Cristian Stellini was replaced by Ryan Mason, the current interim manager, last week after Antonio Conte was fired in April.
After being fired by Bayern in March, Nagelsmann is now searching for a new position. The club lost in the semifinals of the German Cup and the Champions League after he was replaced as Bayern’s manager by Thomas Tuchel, a former Blues manager.
Nagelsmann, who has previously expressed his admiration for English soccer, withdrew from contention to succeed Antonio Conte as the long-term manager of Chelsea last month. He is still a strong contender to take over as manager of Tottenham this summer.
In addition to choosing their new manager, the North London club must also decide what to do with star striker Kane. The contract of the England captain at Spurs expires in a year, so this summer might be the last chance for the north London club to make a profit on their standout player. There is no indication, though, that the club will approve a departure this summer.
Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, is actively seeking to bring a central striker to Old Trafford this summer, and Kane, 29, is on his list of potential targets. Kane’s contractual situation will make a deal more likely, according to United, who are desperate to sign an elite central striker.
Despite serious concerns about his own future, a report in The Sun describes how Kane will be involved in the hiring process before any Spurs manager this summer. The England captain’s retention in North London is still a priority for Daniel Levy, ideally with a new contract. This is comparable to Mbappe’s position at PSG, where he signed a new contract last summer despite appearing to be on the verge of leaving.
Last season, Mbappe had a requirement for staying at PSG, and it was crucial for him to think about fulfilling it. He demanded that he be given a significant say in how the club’s sport is run, along with the ability to influence decisions about who the club’s manager and sporting director will be as well as any upcoming recruits.
Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich are also rumored to be interested in the England captain, whose future beyond this summer is uncertain. Kane is not only wanted by Manchester United.

As Thomas Tuchel demands, Casemiro has already stated his position on leaving Manchester United
Although Thomas Tuchel, the manager of Bayern Munich, is said to be interested in signing Casemiro, who has been a standout for Manchester United this season, a transfer is said to be unlikely.
Although Casemiro does not appear to have any interest in leaving Manchester United or Old Trafford, Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel wants his club to make an attempt to sign the midfielder this summer.
After nine trophy-laden years at Real Madrid, where he won five Champions League titles playing at the base of a midfield with Toni Kroos and Luka Modric, Casemiro left for United in a £70 million deal last summer. The trio established a powerful alliance that largely controlled Europe.
Erik ten Hag’s team has undergone a transformation this season thanks to the Brazilian’s addition. To a team that sorely needed these qualities, he has brought harmony, control, and structure. He’ll probably be a contender for the Premier League’s Player of the Year honor.
With the EFL Cup victory earlier this year, United ended a six-year major trophy drought and has shown that Casemiro has been a driving force behind their recent resurgence. In addition to being in the top four of the Premier League, they have advanced to the FA Cup finals and the round of eight in the Europa League.
According to German news outlet Kicker, new Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel wants to overhaul his midfield this summer, with Casemiro reportedly at the top of his shopping list. He is rumored to be demanding a premier holding midfielder.
Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, Ryan Gravenberch, and Konrad Laimer, who is joining from RB Leipzig, are the only current options that Tuchel does not think are capable of handling the position. Marcel Sabitzer, who is currently on loan at United, is the same.
Bayern is rumored to be interested in Casemiro, who has five goals and seven assists for United this season. A departure from the English club is, however, not likely, according to the Brazilian’s camp.
“Case[miro] has signed for four years plus one,” Oscar Ribot, whose Best of You agency represents Casemiro, reportedly said about the midfielder’s future in quotes published by The Guardian. He came here to win championships; although this month has been challenging, his only thought right now is winning.”
When asked if Casemiro would likely continue playing football after his playing career ended, Ribot responded, “He says he won’t be a coach, but he will. In the body of a football player, he is already one. He has been keeping track of everything this month as well as the remaining days and points.”
