In light of rumors that he might be Sheikh Jassim’s first addition to Manchester United, Kylian Mbappe has shared his plans for the upcoming summer transfer window.
Despite competition from petrochemicals billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the Qatari has offered £5 billion to purchase 100% of United.
Though they only want a controlling interest, the British Ineos Group has given the Old Trafford team a higher value than Sheikh Jassim.
However, if the Qatari banker is successful in his takeover attempts, he allegedly has a summer transfer window budgeted to be extremely expensive.
In fact, Sheikh Jassim allegedly wants to sign Kingsley Coman and Eduardo Camavinga from Paris Saint-Germain in addition to Kylian Mbappe from the Ligue 1 champions.
Despite only signing a new contract with PSG last year, Mbappe, who has scored 35 goals this season and is arguably the best player in the world, has been frequently linked with moves away from the club.
Despite rumors that he wants to leave the French powerhouses this summer, Mbappe, who is PSG’s all-time leading scorer, has come out to open up.
“It’s an honor to play here”, the 24-year-old said via TeamTalk. “Being at PSG is special to me because I’m from Paris. I started out very young, but both on and off the field, I have matured and grown.
“If it had depended on what happened in the Champions League, I would have already left, and I don’t mean to disrespect anyone!
“I’m here and I’m thrilled. I am currently only concerned with making PSG happy.”
The captain of France is still the subject of persistent speculation. The most recent PSG contract for Mbappe only included a two-year initial commitment, with an optional third year that the player could exercise.
Due to this, Real Madrid and Manchester United are rumored to be interested in signing the forward, who will be entering the final year of his contract in July.

PSG ‘wants’ Mbappe to leave Man Utd as Sheikh Jassim prepares for a significant summer makeover
According to reports, Kylian Mbappe’s transfer to Manchester United would be acceptable to Paris Saint-Germain.
Sheikh Jassim has offered £5 billion to purchase 100% of United, but British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe is a fierce rival for the club’s sale.
Although they only want a controlling interest in the Premier League giants, Ratcliffe’s INEOS Group is said to have given the Old Trafford club a higher value than the Qatari banker.
The Britishman might consider letting Joel and Avram Glazer keep a small ownership stake in the team.
However, if Sheikh Jassim succeeds in outbidding Ratcliffe, he reportedly has a very ambitious summer transfer window planned.
According to Christian Falk, head of sport at Bild, the Qatari wants to sign Kingsley Coman and Eduardo Camavinga from PSG in addition to Kylian Mbappe from PSG.
Having only recently renewed his PSG contract last year, the France captain, who has scored 35 goals this season, would undoubtedly demand a hefty transfer fee.
According to reports that surfaced last month, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the president of PSG, wants Kylian Mbappe to sign for United.
The transfer, however, is contingent on Sheikh Jassim’s group succeeding in its bid to purchase United from the Glazers.
PSG is willing to let Mbappe go, but only if he wants to go to Old Trafford, according to the French publication Le10Sport via Sportskeeda.
Mbappe has been linked to a move to Real Madrid for a long time, despite signing a new contract in the summer of last year.
He was once more rumored to be relocating to Los Blancos in January, and he was compelled to publicly deny the reports.
“I am very happy,” he declared. I’ve never asked to leave in January. I didn’t understand why the story was released on a game day.
“Like everyone else, I was shocked. Although some people might assume I was involved, I was actually napping.
We were shocked to learn that my caretakers weren’t present because my entourage was at my little brother’s game.”
