In their previous three away games, they had lost three straight, including a 3-0 defeat to Sevilla in Spain, a two-goal deficit against Tottenham Hotspur, and a last-second defeat to Brighton.
Erik ten Hag’s first season in charge of the team has been largely defined by the club’s away performance, and the match against West Ham comes at the ideal time to end their current run of road losses.

The Reds of Ten Hag don’t have any new injury worries, but the Dutchman has suggested that young winger Alejandro Garnacho might make an appearance on matchday.
