Should Manchester United be willing to pay €60 million, Napoli is reportedly very seriously considering a transfer for Kim Min-jae.
The South Korean international has played a significant role in this remarkable season, which saw them win the Serie A championship for the first time in 33 years.
While there are rumors that his release clause is only €45 million, he was only acquired from Fenerbahce for €18 million last summer.
Only the dates of July 1 through July 15, 2024, are applicable to clubs outside of Italy.
The Corriere dello Sport claims, however, that Manchester United is set on signing the 26-year-old this summer and is preparing a bid in the neighborhood of €60 million.
Napoli may be willing to make this sacrifice, particularly if it enables them to fend off interest in Victor Osimhen from Manchester United, Chelsea, PSG, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich.
Kalidou Koulibaly, who had served as the cornerstone of Napoli’s defense for eight years, was replaced by Kim Min-jae.

BRUNO FERNANDES RETAINS MONTHLY AWARD
In recognition of his outstanding performances throughout April, Bruno Fernandes has won Player of the Month for the second time in a row.
The midfielder, who was selected as star player in March, won the trophy for a second time this year by maintaining his outstanding play. The Portugal international has shown impressive consistency despite being asked to fill a variety of different roles, and he naturally scored in our 1-0 win over Aston Villa in the month’s final game.
Bruno undoubtedly won over fans with his fortitude and character. He overcame what appeared to be a serious injury in the Emirates FA Cup shootout victory over Brighton and Hove Albion, and four days later, he made an appearance in the 2-2 draw at Tottenham, where he hit the crossbar after a spectacular skillful move.
Our poll, which was available on the United App and ManUtd.com and allowed participants to vote on the result, was close at the top.
Victor Lindelof, the center-back who converted the game-winning penalty against the Seagulls at Wembley, was a strong rival for Bruno, who won nearly half of the vote (49%) in the end.
Luke Shaw, the other nominee, received 10% of the vote.
Rashford and Fernandes split the last five monthly awards with Rashford (3) and Fernandes (2), which may indicate that when the public voting for the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year begins, it will be interesting to watch.
Our no. 8 won the coveted trophy in each of his first two seasons with the team, 2019–2020 and 2020–21.
Bravo, Bruno!
