According to report, Liverpool made two bids worth £103m for the rebuild of its midfield

Jude Bellingham is close to joining Real Madrid for a guaranteed fee of 103 million euros, despite the fact that Liverpool primarily wanted him to bolster their midfield.

The Merseysiders reportedly made bids worth £103 million to sign two Los Blancos stars for the revamped midfield.

The fourteen-time European champions declined the offers, though.

According to a report from Defense Central published yesterday, Liverpool made a move to sign Aurelien Tchouameni and offered 60 million euros. It was declined.

Madrid reached an agreement worth 100 million euros with Monaco last summer and made an initial payment of 80 million euros.

Therefore, the Reds were always going to reject a 60 million euro offer. Although Klopp has been a huge fan of the Les Bleus star, he will be unable to hire him.

Under Carlo Ancelotti’s direction, Tchouameni started 24 games and made 33 appearances in La Liga last season.

Federico Valverde, a Uruguayan international, was the subject of a 60 million euro offer from the Liverpool club, according to Nacional, another Spanish source.

Florentino Perez, however, declined the offer. The South American star is a crucial component of Madrid’s team.

The 24-year-old can play in the midfield and on offense, and he directly assisted 19 goals last season. He also played in the final of the 2022 CL against Liverpool, where he set up the game-winning goal.

Since Real Madrid reportedly rejected Alexis Mac Allister twice, Jurgen Klopp must look elsewhere to finish the midfield overhaul this summer.
