Haaland is one of the best strikers in the world and is a big figure at Manchester City.
Haaland has netted eight goals and provided one assist in eight Premier League matches so far this season.
However, the 23-year-old has not been in great form in recent times.
Haaland struggled against Wolverhampton Wanderers, could not score against RB Leipzig and was largely anonymous against Arsenal.
Pep Guardiola’s side lost against Wolves and against Arsenal in the Premier League.
Defending champions City are third in the Premier League table at the moment with 18 points from eight matches.
The Citizens are two points behind Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal, who are first and second respectively in the standings.
Described as “a huge talent” by City Director of Football Txiki Begiristain, Haaland scored two goals for Norway against Cyprus away from home in European Championship Qualifying Group A on Thursday.
The 23-year-old found the back of the net in the 65th minute and on 72 minutes.
Haaland has taken to Instagram to post a message after the win, and Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai has ‘liked’ it.
Szoboszlai played with Manchester City striker Haaland at RB Salzburg.
Dominik Szoboszlai joined Liverpool from RB Leipzig in the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old Hungary international has hit the ground running at Liverpool.
The midfielder has scored one goal in eight Premier League appearances for Jurgen Klopp’s side this season.
