It’s All Kicking Off podcast
Manchester City’s crunch game against Liverpool has been moved to an unusual new kick-off time.
The two Premier League giants will face off at Anfield in March in a game that could go a long way to deciding who lifts the league title come May.
Liverpool are top of the league heading into City’s game against Brentford on Monday, but are just five points ahead of the reigning champions, who have two matches in hand.
The Reds’ fate remains in their own hands, however, and they will have to beat City in their game next month in order to keep in that way in the final few months of Jurgen Klopp’s reign.
The game, following the release of the fixtures, will take place on Sunday March 10, with kick-off now set for 3:45pm and the game live on Sky Sports.
At the start of March, Manchester United versus Everton will be live on TNT Sports and kick off at 12:30pm, with Arsenal against Brentford to be held later that evening at 5:30pm live on Sky.
Aston Villa’s game against Tottenham at Villa Park will take place a day later at 1pm and will be live on Sky Sports, with Brighton versus Nottingham Forest and West Ham versus Burnley to take place on the same day at 2pm due to European involvements.
Chelsea’s game against Newcastle will be Monday Night Football, live on Sky Sports on March 11 at 8pm.
The following week, Arsenal are set to host Chelsea at 12:30pm on Saturday March 16, though the game is subject to FA Cup quarter-final participation, with the game to be postponed if either team reach the last eight.
The same goes for the Merseyside derby, which is set to take place at 2pm on the Sunday live on Sky and Brighton versus Manchester City, also set to take place on the Sunday, while Fulham versus Tottenham is a guaranteed fixture and will take place on Saturday March 16 at 5:30pm with both sides out of the FA Cup.
West Ham versus Aston Villa is set for Sunday March 17 at 2pm, and is subject to European competition involvement for both sides.
To complete the month, Newcastle versus West Ham will be on TNT Sports at 12:30pm on March 30, Aston Villa versus Wolves and Brentford versus Manchester United later that day, and Liverpool versus Brighton like on Sky at 2pm on Sunday March 31.
Manchester City against Arsenal – another potential title clash – meanwhile, will take place on Saturday March 30 at the Etihad, like on Sky with kick-off at 4:30pm.
