It will be heartbreaking when Jurgen Klopp leaves Liverpool – we hope to win the Premier League title for him

Liverpool’s star players have looked back on their impressive season so far and Jurgen Klopp’s move to Anfield as they share their ambitions for the rest of the season.

It has been a memorable season for Liverpool’s academy so far, with many red stars hoping to go even further.

Jurgen Klopp has signed 17 academy graduates and stars this season. That list also includes Trent-Alexander Arnold, Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott and Caoimhin Kelleher, while the others are either recent graduates such as Jarell Quansa and Conor Bradley, or first-team players stepping up in the club’s hour of need in the midst of a serious injury crisis.

The highlight for United’s young squad was undoubtedly the victory over Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final last month.

Bradley started at Wembley, while Quansa, Bobby Clarke, James McConnell and Jayden Danns came off the bench. Meanwhile, Lewis Kou76mas and Trey Nyoni were unused substitutes before making their senior debuts just days after Liverpool’s FA Cup fifth round win over Southampton.

Having tasted silverware for the first time, the club’s next generation is hungry for more. With Klopp acknowledging their great debut and giving them the confidence to step up, they will all be hoping to wouwantmore trophies before Germany’s “heartbreaking” start to the summer. “We hope to win it all, especially since this is his last season,” Clark told the club as he sat down for a group interview with Koumas, McConnell, Quansa and Bradley.

“Because we are with this team and we can go for it. We won the Carabao Cup and hopefully there will be more wins in the future.
“I hope we do everything for our boss.” Koumas added. “I will be heartbroken when he leaves. I hope we get more awards for this. He is great. “He’s one of the best coaches in the world and it’s great to learn from him and show what I can do.”

“There is a tremendous opportunity,” McConnell acknowledged. “It’s March now. If you look at the players we will have back, they are some of the best players in the world. “It’s about giving every game a really good opportunity and seeing what happens in May.”

“I think it’s surprising that we got into it,” Quansa said. But in the end we showed that we are good enough and that we can help the team win the league.”

Liverpool are next in action at home to Sparta Prague in the Europa League on Thursday night, before travelling to Manchester United in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Sunday. With the majority of the Reds’ injured players not expected back until after the March international break, the club’s youngsters’ game-time won’t run out anytime soon.

With Liverpool beating Sparta Prague 5-1 in the last 16 of the Europa League, it would be surprising if Klopp didn’t start recruiting the aforementioned stars against the Czech Republic with an eye on Liverpool. I am eager. They qualified for the quarter-finals ahead of Friday’s draw.
