It may be best for Newcastle United supporters to wait to vent their anger during this summer’s window until after deadline day has passed.

Considering the extreme financial backing at Newcastle’s finger tips, there is no doubting this summer has been a huge disappointment.
The final weeks of the window have largely rested on Newcastle landing their top target in Marc Guehi but that has proven a difficult deal to pull off.
Newcastle have made numerous bids for Guehi already this window but have seen those knocked back by Crystal Palace.
On Thursday, fans on Tyneside were hit with the news that a move for Guehi to Newcastle was looking extremely unlikely.
However, on deadline day morning, Fabrizio Romano has been able to provide a much more positive outlook on the situation.
Speaking in his Daily Briefing, Romano has claimed that not all hope is lost over a possible move to St James’ Park for Guehi.
“At the moment, it’s still very difficult for Newcastle to land Marc Guehi,” he said.
“The deal is not 100% off yet and Newcastle will try until the end, but Palace are insisting on their valuation being met so it remains complicated.
“Palace have always been making it difficult for Newcastle this summer and they’re not changing their position now either.”
As things stand, Newcastle are heading into the first half of the season with a weaker squad than what they ended last season with.
The PSR scares in June saw the Magpies sell Elliot Anderson and Yankuba Minteh to balance the books and those are deals which saw two young prospects depart.
In their places has arrived one free centre-back and two backup goalkeepers.
Considering the exciting plans that were put forward to the Newcastle fans when this takeover was sanctioned, this has been a hugely disappointing summer.
