The Lions have announced their first injury report for the eighth week of the season on Wednesday

The Detroit Lions came out of their Week 7 victory against the Minnesota Vikings in good shape, avoiding additional injuries after a challenging few weeks. This win was crucial as the team managed to maintain its roster stability.

Several veteran offensive linemen, including Taylor Decker, Frank Ragnow, and Graham Glasgow, sat out Wednesday’s practice for rest but are not reported to have any injury concerns. Offensive lineman Kevin Zeitler returned to practice after missing the previous game.

Defensive end Josh Paschal, who had been dealing with some injuries but played through them in the Vikings game, did not practice on Wednesday due to illness. However, running back David Montgomery participated in practice after briefly leaving the last game with a knee contusion.

Coach Dan Campbell provided a positive update on cornerback Emmanuel Moseley, who has been on injured reserve since tearing his pectoral muscle during joint practices with the New York Giants in August. Moseley traveled with the team to Minnesota and is making progress in his recovery.

Campbell noted that this was the first week Moseley has traveled with the team, and the coaching staff was supportive of his desire to join them. While he couldn’t specify how close Moseley is to returning, he mentioned that Moseley is improving and healing well.

The Lions’ injury report for Wednesday indicated that Ragnow, Decker, Glasgow, and Levi Onwuzurike were all resting. Josh Paschal was marked as not participating due to illness, while Christian Mahogany and Kevin Zeitler were noted, with Mahogany dealing with an illness and Zeitler limited by a groin issue.
