Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors did not end the calendar year on a high note. The Warriors lost four out of their last five games in 2024, including a 113-95 blowout defeat at the hands of the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday.
Curry was far from his best against the Cavs, logging just 11 points on 4-of-14 shooting, to go along with two rebounds, three assists and three triples in 29 minutes of action.
The silver lining for Curry and Co. is that they get a bit of a fresh start now that the calendar has turned to 2025. The former back-to-back MVP also has the unwavering support of his wife, Ayesha Curry, as he moves towards whatever the new year has in store.
On Wednesday, Curry took to Instagram to share a four-word message alongside his better half.
“2025 with my Ish!” he wrote, sharing a couple of selfies with Ayesha Curry.
2024 was quite a year for the Curry’s, with their biggest highlight being the birth of their fourth child Caius, who was born in May.
As for his basketball, the 2023-24 season was a forgettable one for Curry and the Warriors. They finished 11th in the Western Conference with a 47-35 record, missing the playoffs just two years after winning the championship in 2022.
On top of being the mom of four kids, Ayehsa Curry stood by her man’s side through it all, and the same should be the case in 2025 and beyond.
