Liquor and Gaming NSW is looking into the management of the Holman Barnes Group by interviewing the three directors who have been banned from the industry for a total of 15 years. Last month, it was reported that the Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority was informed about the disagreements within the HBG board. HBG is the main shareholder of the Wests Tigers and owns the successful Wests Ashfield club.
The regulator has not answered questions about the investigation, but a spokesperson confirmed that they are aware of recent allegations involving the Holman Barnes Group. “The L&GNSW spokesman stated that they are currently evaluating the allegations and cannot provide any additional comments at this time.”
