Serena Williams Congratulates Lewis Hamilton on His First Ferrari Victory

Lewis Hamilton was able to bring smile to Tifosi’s faces during the second race weekend of the 2025 Formula 1 season. Hamilton and Ferrari secured victory in the first sprint race of 2025. Hamilton won the 2025 Chinese GP F1 Sprint starting from pole position.

In a dominant display of race pace and tyre management, Hamilton led all 19 laps of the sprint race. His victory at the sprint race is also Ferrari’s first sprint race victory. Hamilton’s victory came as much needed relief for Ferrari who had a disastrous start to the season.

Lewis Hamilton’s achievement in his second race for Ferrari was celebrated by one of his closest friends. Hamilton is among the most popular celebrities from the Formula 1 paddock. He has connections and friendships with many other sportsmen and women.

Hamilton is a part of multiple projects except Formula 1 racing. Hamilton has played a primary role in the upcoming movie based on the “pinnacle of motorsports”- F1.

Serena Williams commented on Lewis Hamilton’s victory post after the Formula 1 sprint. She reportedly said:

“Love you see what happens when they let you be great! Let’s go! No more holding you back!”

Her words about him being held back are being attributed to Mercedes AMG. Some fans are speculating that Mercedes let go of Hamilton in his final years. Instead of him, his teammate George Russell became the first driver at Mercedes instead of the seven-time champion.

The F1 Sprint was complete opposite of Ferrari’s performance in the Chinese GP. The Prancing Horse faced double disqualification during the main race. Hamilton finished the race in sixth position. He faced some miscommunication with Ferrari during the race. Hamilton’s bottom plank faced 0.5mm more wear than the FIA regulations allowed. This slight mistake cost Lewis Hamilton his finish at the Chinese GP.
