Prior to AFC Bournemouth’s visit to Merseyside, Milos Kerkez, a teammate from Hungary, has sent Dominik Szoboszlai a warning.
The former playmaker from RB Leipzig will have his first opportunity to leave the revered Anfield field on Saturday. The Reds’ 1-1 draw with Chelsea on opening day was entirely covered by Szoboszlai’s performance.
The 22-year-old began the game in midfield alongside Alexis Mac Allister and Cody Gakpo as he acclimated to Jurgen Klopp’s team. After his £60 million release clause was activated, the Hungarian surprised fans on the Liverpool tour with his unveiling; however, this weekend, he might make his Anfield debut.
With Dominic Solanke, a former Reds forward, erasing Jarrod Bowen’s opening goal against West Ham United at home, Liverpool will face Andoni Iraola’s team.
Szoboszlai will have the chance to face Kerkez, a fellow countryman, in the match between Liverpool and the Cherries. For an undisclosed sum, the 19-year-old completed his summer transfer from AZ Alkmaar to the Premier League.
Szoboszlai utilized the chance to leave a comment on the Bournemouth defender’s Instagram post prior to the game. He added the words “See you soon” along with the emojis for a heart and hands covering the face.
“Better get ready,” Kerkez warned, popping back with an admonition.
Szoboszlai declared his intention to win trophies with Liverpool after a successful run with RB Leipzig in his remarks prior to the Premier League opener against Mauricio Pochettino’s team.
“I obviously came because the Premier League is the best league in the world and Liverpool is one of the best clubs in the world. I want to accomplish a lot with this team, he said, according to the official Liverpool website.
“Really looking forward and really excited to start [after] a great pre-season with some games and minutes in everyone’s legs. really looking forward to starting. “
