Liverpool Winger Wanted By Al-Ittihad: Will The Winger Make The Move?

A report from The Guardian has suggested that Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad are set to make a significant attempt to secure the services of Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah, presenting an enormous bid accompanied by substantial wages.

The team are prepared to propose a substantial £51 million for the Egyptian player and extend a two-year contract with an impressive £155 million in earnings. However, it’s worth noting that Salah’s agent has expressed scepticism and dismissed any potential agreement.

Throughout the campaign, the 31-year-old consistently dazzled with exceptional displays at Anfield. Across all competitions, he accumulated an impressive record of 30 goals and 15 assists in 51 appearances for the Reds.

The sensational Egyptian player has maintained an impressive level of consistency, with an average of 3.3 shots, 1.7 key passes, and 1.3 dribbles per game in the Premier League. Furthermore, his adeptness in passing is evident, boasting a pass completion rate of 78.1% in the English top-flight matches, as per statistics from Whoscored.

With his ability to harness his pace and cut inside effectively from the right flank, the Egypt international presents a significant offensive threat. His well-timed runs behind the opponent’s defence consistently result in prime goal-scoring opportunities.

Furthermore, he has a knack for creating space and exhibits confidence in unleashing powerful shots outside the penalty area. On the field, the Egyptian winger’s exceptional ball control and proficiency in capitalising on counter-attacks further underscore his skill set.

Emerging as one of Europe’s premier wingers, he has solidified his stature. At 31 years old, he’s at the pinnacle of his career and shows no signs of slowing down.

He remains an indispensable asset within Liverpool’s attacking lineup, being a central figure. With his prime capabilities, he holds the potential to lead the Merseyside club to triumph in the upcoming season, as the team will heavily rely on his offensive contributions.

His exit would carry significant ramifications for the Anfield club. Thus, Jurgen Klopp would strongly oppose his departure, especially given their aspirations to secure top-four positions in the upcoming Premier League season. Hence, the Egyptian winger isn’t likely to make an exit this summer.
