John Terry uses ‘one-word’ after VAR audio footage of Tottenham v Liverpool is released

What everyone has been waiting for, the VAR audio footage of Luis Diaz’s supposed ‘offside’ goal during Liverpool’s 2-1 defeat to Tottenham has been released.

That grave error from the officials has been hitting the headlines days after the Saturday clash, and finally, fans, mainly Liverpool, have got what they wanted.

Former Chelsea defender John Terry simply used the word ‘wow’ on Twitter when he heard the audio from the Tottenham and Liverpool game, which was released on Tuesday evening.

It was made clear by the powers that be that the on-field referee, Simon Hooper, couldn’t hear everything that was said by those in the VAR room when Luis Diaz’s goal went in and only those comments ‘directed at him’, as posted by Project Football.

There will be some who will feel this is the right step to try and move on from this issue.

But there will be others who still won’t be having it and would be throwing even more verbals, either way, this is how John Terry reacted to it all.

Amid all this drama, it needs to be remembered that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool showcased a serious fight during the game.

Many are questioning if they can challenge for the Premier League title and whilst they lost at Spurs, they are showing signs that they could possibly overthrow Manchester City this season.

At the end of the day, the Reds were the last team to push them off their trophy-dominating hill.
