Why Jurgen Klopp is reluctant to sign any further contract extension at Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp became Liverpool manager in 2015 after the sack of Brendan Rodgers. Since then, he has won every possible trophy for the Reds.

Moreover, he has transformed Liverpool into one of the best clubs in the world. He has identified and nurtured players like Mohammed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino and turned them into one of the most feared forward line in Europe.

However, according to reports, Jurgen Klopp is reluctant to sign another contract extension at the club.

Currently, Klopp is building the new version of Liverpool. Because of this ongoing phase of transformation, we’re witnessing several transfers related to the club. Some more transfers would be coming and then they’d good to go.

According to empireofthekop, Klopp signed a new deal in the April of last year. As per the terms of this contract, he’ll be on the helm of the ship at Anfield until 2026.

Neither the club nor the coach is thinking about any further contract extension presently.

Klopp has been revamping the midfield and attacking areas of the team since the last few transfer windows. He is preparing the new generation of Liverpool to challenge any team of Europe at any level.

The current scenario in the German national team is not satisfactory. Reports state that managing the national team is Klopp’s future aspiration.

Because of this reason, the former Borussia Dortmund coach may be reluctant to sign another extension in England.

If he gets the opportunity to coach his country, he’ll surely be inclined towards it. But there’s plenty of time for that to happen.

At this moment, we should enjoy his term at Liverpool as of now. It’ll certainly be an emotional moment when the German will step on the side lines of English pitch for the last time.
