Liverpool make decision over Andre Trindade’s transfer

Liverpool have made their decision concerning Andre Trindade. The Reds have withdrawn from the race to sign him. Moreover, they’re looking for other options in the upcoming January transfer window.

According to recent reports, Fulham are the top club aiming for the 20 year old Brazilian defensive midfielder. Fluminense have just lost the FIFA Club World Cup final to Manchester City.

Andre Trindade was exceptional in that match. The way he’s played this season shows a clear indication that he’s gonna get a lot of caps for his national team in the future.

In addition, Andre has won the Copa Libretadores trophy with Fluminense this season. His contribution was crucial for the team and because of that, he’s become one of the most sought after youngsters in the world at the moment.

According to footballfancast, Jurgen Klopp has transformed the midfield of Liverpool this summer. He believed that the midline needed changes and he did the required changes.

Players like Fabinho, James Milner and Jordan Henderson have left. Post that, the club signed Dominik Szoboszlai, Wataru Endo and Alexis Mac Allister.

All these players have stepped up for Klopp when required. However, in the initial stages, Mac Allister was having a hard time playing in the number 6 role.

Moreover, Liverpool started looking for a perfect number 6 and their search brought them to Andre Trindade. But Fluminense were not willing to let him go so easily. The transfer was becoming complicated day by day. So the Reds decided to pull out of Andre’s pursuit.

After abandoning the race to sign Andre Trindade, Liverpool are now focusing on what they have. Although they’re exploring other options ahead of the January transfer window.

But as of now, they’re only focused on what they have. Moreover, Alexis Mac Allister seems to be adapting to his new position. It’s just a matter of time that he’ll be a reliable number 6 for the Reds.

In the meanwhile, Klopp should keep searching for a specialised defensive midfielder so that Mac Allister can get back to his original position which would allow him to play more independently.
