Betting Line For Super Bowl Is Moving In Favor Of One Team

The Super Bowl LVIII matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers will be one of the most-bet games of the year – because it’s the biggest game of the year.

The line has moved throughout the week since the matchup was officially set following the conference title games but now has begun to settle with a week left before the two teams face off.

As of this writing, the 49ers are favored to beat the Chiefs by 2.5 points, according to Superbook Sports.

This makes sense considering how well the 49ers have played this season relative to the Chiefs.

The 49ers cruised to the top of the NFC behind Brock Purdy, an electric group of skill position players, and a top-tier defense.

However, they had to come back to win their past two playoff games against the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions.

The Chiefs haven’t had a great season – by their standards, anyway – but proved worthy to defend their Super Bowl title from this past season after taking down the Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills, and Baltimore Ravens, the final two being on the road.

The 49ers will now go against perhaps their toughest defensive opponent in the Kansas City Chiefs, who limited MVP-hopeful Lamar Jackson’s team to just ten points in the AFC Title game.

But with Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel, George Kittle, and Brandon Aiyuk on offense, the 49ers can turn it on at any point in the game.

In any event, a 2.5-point spread is small enough to where this could be anyone’s game.
