Six Dubs scored in double figures as the Golden State Warriors beat the New Orleans Pelicans 104-89 at Chase Center on Wednesday night.
Buddy Hield led the way with 21 points off the bench, while Brandin Podziemski finished with a near triple-double, recording 13 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.
With four made threes on Wednesday night, Buddy Hield has now made 23 3-points this season, breaking his own record for most made threes in the first five games with a new team in NBA history.
Hield finished the game with a team-high 21 points, including a 26-foot buzzer beat to close the first half to send the Dubs to the locker room.
On Tuesday night, the Warriors fell behind by 20 points early before turning the game around and finishing the game with an 18-point victory. On Wednesday, the Dubs took the lead right out of the gate, scoring the first six points of the night and never looked back.
Just as they opened the first half with a quick start, the Dubs did the same to start the third quarter, scoring 11 of the first 13 points of the second half to take a commanding double-digit lead.
Draymond Green scored eight straight points for the Warriors in the second frame, knocking down two 3-pointers during his run.
Green finished with a season-high 14 points, connecting on three 3-pointers in the win. He also recorded five blocks on the night, his most in a game since Oct. 28, 2021.
A night after scoring 21 points and recording a career-high 8 rebounds, Lindy Waters III got his first career start as a Warrior, and the second of his career.
In 30 minutes on Wednesday, finished with three points and three assists with a plus-13 plus-minus.
