The last time Kentucky basketball played, they made a dramatic comeback in the second half to overcome the Gonzaga Bulldogs, a top 10 team. It was a much-needed victory after losing the previous game to the Clemson Tigers.

The Wildcats face a far more tough schedule in December than in November. In addition to Clemson and Gonzaga, they still have games against Louisville and Ohio State. Tonight, however, they meet a Colgate squad that is widely predicted to win.

Kentucky comes in with an 8 – 1 record, and ranked fifth in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll. Colgate, on the other hand, has struggled, and is just 2 – 8 on the year. That doesn’t mean Mark Pope and his squad will take them lightly though.
